Art at the Ruggle
We display a collection of limited edition illustrations from the artist Pamela Coleman Smith who was famous for painting tarot cards in the eighteenth century. The paintings which were her interpretation of 'Widecombe Fair' were printed by hand in 1898 by Lamson, Wolffe and Company, publishers from Boston, New York and London. Our set No. 138 were kindly donated to us so that they can be enjoyed by all.
